JCO: Re: video interview

Randy,

I hesitated to download the quick time, just because I have other formats
already in place but I am so glad I did and thank you so much for the
opportunity to SEE the interview. It was an astonishing visual experience
for me to actually see her gesture and talk and enjoy the questions. She
spoke from both her personal life and her life as a philosopher and artist.
I can envision her many conversations with other Princeton professors over
the years in the areas of religious fundamentalism, ethics and world view.
It was especially interesting to hear her answer to the question: (as I
paraphrase it) Which of her vast written legacy of writing would she have
placed in a time capsule as representative of her "best"?.

I was appalled when I first knew of her interest in boxing, Never did I
understand why she could be interested in boxing until hearing her history
and comments on that sport. She is an amazing person and shared of herself
fully for a stimulating hour with an interviewer and audience she
obviously appreciated. I learned a lot.
