Re: JCO: Question about novella "TELL ME YOU FORGIVE ME?"
I haven't read it, but it was originally published in Ellery Queen's
Mystery Magazine, Sept. / Oct 1991. There's a big difference in page
count between the magazine and book (25 vs. 40), but I don't know if
it is accounted for by a different format, a revision, or both. In
any case it doesn't seem long enough in either case to qualify as a
novella.
There is a new novella in Ed McBain's anthology TRANSGRESSIONS called
"The Corn Maiden: A Love Story" (90 pages). Haven't read that either,
I'm afraid.
