Re: JCO: new yorker story
So what is different about JCO's choice of material from the standard fare you find on L&O every week of the year? To the best of my knowledge, I have never seen a word of negative comment (Actually, the reverse is true.) about the stories L&O writers "rip from the headlines".
I haven't read the story as yet, but I am certain, given JCO's sensibilities and taste, that it is literary and not sensationalistic. About the only good that can come from this release is that it will widen Joyce's reading audience.
