Laurie - When you said "and have a life" ... From all I have read about
JCO, all of the activities you mentioned ARE her life. And that is just
how she likes it.

Hello Laurie and Renee,

If this is of any help, when I wrote to JCO about adapting her short
story on screen, she wrote me back--not an assistant. I received a fax
in less than a month's time. She watched my previous films too.

She does have an agent, however, who takes care of the many talks she is
asked to give, and business matters. I think she actually does most of
her work, including replying to correspondence. SHe's truly
unbelievable!
