Also, to the group at large, a story that I think is one of her best recent ones just appeared in BEST AMERICAN MYSTERY STORIES.  It's called "Doll: A Romance of the Mississippi" and it originally appeared in THE GETTYSBURG REVIEW.  It's vintage Oates!  --Angie
