JCO: RE: Interview

Hi Randy:

I think this is the best interview of JCO that I can recall. The questions
are sensible, and JCO seems very open, more so than I usually think of her
as being. It's very, very informative. And, as people have remarked, the
pictures are interesting, too.

Thanks for giving us the reference,

Steve

There's a link now to the interview on the home page:

The quotation I used there I thought was appropriate for the web
site--it's not directed at anyone who is having trouble with links in
their email. Obviously we are all able to use the Internet. ;)

Dear Randy,

I would love to read this article, but I keep getting an internal server error---is there any other web address for it?

Thank you so much for sharing this with us

Re: JCO: Interview

A very long and engaging interview!  It amazes me that with such profound insight into con-
temporary human circumstances that she has, Oates can apparently remain as optimistic
as she seems to be.  As "dark" as much of her fiction has been criticised by others, I've
never found it completely so.  Thank you, Randy.
