JCO: New JCO story in anthology

Hello everyone.

I thought I'd let you know about a new JCO story which appears in an
anthology published by McSweeney's. It's called "McSweeney's Enchanted
Chamber of Astonishing Stories," edited by Michael Chabon. According to the
back cover, it's a "brand-new collection that reinvigorates the
stay-up-all-night, fingernail-biting, page-turning tradition of literary
short stories."

JCO's story is titled "The Fabled Light-House at Vina Del Mar," and
according to an author's note, it was suggested by a one-page sketch found
in Edgar Allen Poe's papers. The story definitely showcases JCO's
intelligence and her gothic sensibility.

There are other authors in the collection you might find interesting:
Margaret Atwood, Jonathan Lethem, David Mitchell, Daniel Handler, Stephen
King... I'll paste the amazon.com link below:

Anyway, I enjoyed it and thought some of you might too.

Ryan.

JCO: heads up, y'all

There's going to be an interview with JCO broadcast tonight on San
Francisco's public radio station kqed. She'll be interviewed by local
professor and interview host Michael Krasny at 8p PST. For those of you with
access to broadband, it should be available via streaming media (dial-up
connectivity probably will be choppy and intermittent due to the bandwidth
required) at

www.kqed.org
