JCO: Small Avalanches, film adaptation

Hello Everyone,

I would like to let the listserv know that we finally have Small
Avalanches available on DVD! The film won Best Short Film and Best
Female Actor at the 2007 Brooklyn International Film Festival in June
and continues to show at film festivals. Joyce Carol Oates was really
pleased with the film too (a great relief for me!).

The DVD is now available for purchase by e-mailing my producer Howard
Fraiberg at howard@proximityfilms.ca. The cost, which includes air mail
shipping, is $25 US.

If you would like more information, the film is listed on imdb.com, the
main database of the film industry. Here is the link:

Thank-you for all your support and interest.

Lara

JCO: RE: Double Delight

Hi Linda:

Thanks for letting us know about "Double Delight", which I haven't yet read.  I think "My Heart Laid Bare" would also meet your description.

Some time ago I asked if anyone knew the title of a JCO work about "a family of con artists" as it was described to me at the time.  I found it, and just finished it: Double Delight, by one Rosamond Smith, aka JCO.   Excellent novel.  I recommend it for those of you who enjoy JCO's novels.   Linda
