JCO: Question about novella "TELL ME YOU FORGIVE ME?"

I'm curious about this novella "TELL ME YOU FORGIVE ME?" in Ellery Queen
Presents Great Mystery Novellas. Was it an original piece written for the
anthology or was it previously published in another collection or
publication? If anyone's read it, is it good?
